It is a heavy tool,but the weight keeps itsteady in curves. I wrote about this to Dewalt and the technician admitted that the saws dust blower was "ineffective".If you can manage the dust,this is a great jigsaw. The 36v Dewalt is the best cutting jigsaw I have ever used,and that includes two corded Bosch saws. This saws biggest failure is that its blower blows dust over the line,and I find that I must blow the line myself to clear the line.
